IAAO Launches New Online Community - IAAO Connect
I’m pleased to announce the launch of IAAO Connect, the association’s new online community, which will assist members to connect, interact, and learn.
An online community is a website where people are invited to come together to learn, educate,  mentor and discover more about themselves and their peers. IAAO Connect is a collection of online communities for IAAO members offering a mix of communities open to all members, such as the Annual Conference Community, and private communities, such as for Committees and Task Forces.
I believe the IAAO Connect homepage will be a bookmark worthy destination that will be your one stop shop for IAAO news. On the home page visitors will be able to see the latest discussion posts and recently shared files from the Communities, plus find the latest in IAAO Social Media and Job postings. And finally, you’ll be able to stay up to date with the latest IAAO announcements and upcoming industry events!
An IAAO Connect Community will also be your resource to ask questions of your industry peers in the form of discussion posts. It will also be your opportunity to share your knowledge by helping others with their questions, providing your opinion, or even sharing digital resources in the community’s online library. Whether you have many years of experience, or you are just starting out in the industry, IAAO Connect will give you the chance to be part of a discussion.
All IAAO Members will be auto-enrolled in the Open Forum Community, where you can introduce yourself, ask questions about IAAO Connect, or post about any other general interest topic. To get started, visit the IAAO Connect information page to learn more about how to log in, the various communities, and other important information. Then log in, join some communities, and start connecting!
