National Assessor’s Day is Tuesday; IAAO providing info sheet for jurisdictions
National Assessor’s Day is Tuesday, Sept. 24, and to help jurisdictions show the value of assessors, IAAO has provided an
information sheet to download to provide to the public.
National Assessor’s Day is the last Tuesday of September and was first observed in 2018 by EagleView. The goal is to help educate residents about the contributions assessors make to their communities. The day offers assessors a platform to explain how assessors value homes and businesses, and how the technology they use helps their community operate more efficiently.
