Annual Conference registration to open Friday, May 21
Registration for the 2021 IAAO Annual Conference, Aug. 29 to Sept. 1 in Chicago, will open next week and hotel reservations are now available.
Online registration for the in-person and virtual component will open at 8 a.m. Central, Friday, May 21. Registration forms also will be available to download.  The
virtual conference component will include access to a select number of
education sessions, networking opportunities, exhibitors/sponsors, and
more!
Chicago recently
loosened restrictions on the number of people who can gather for events
and Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced plans to have the city fully open by
July 4.
Chicago has a travel
order with restrictions for travelers from states with high COVID cases,
however individuals from those states who are fully vaccinated, or test
negative within 72 hours of arrival in Chicago may visit the city. The
travel order is updated every other week. For a list of states, and

Conference Sessions
More than 70 sessions
will be offered at the conference, covering the following topics:
Appraising Property, Collecting and Maintaining Property Data,
Developing and Managing Cadastral Data, Leading and Managing the
Assessment Office, Managing Complaints and Appeals, Managing Public
Relations and Communications, Oversight and Compliance Review, Working
within the Legal Framework, Exhibitor Solutions, and Future Trends.

In-person attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 13 credit
hours and 12 preselected credit hours will be available to virtual
attendees via the livestream.
Hotel Reservations
The 2021 Annual
Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Members or
nonmembers planning on attending the Annual Conference may now reserve a
room.
A one-night deposit
of room and tax is required to hold the room but may be canceled without
penalty up to 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
The IAAO Annual
Conference is the premier platform to share successes, discover best
practices, and learn the latest research in the field of property
appraisal. Educational sessions, networking opportunities and events,
and a varied exposition will equip attendees with the tools needed to
succeed.
