Women’s Initiative Task Force March call on Lead the Way
In
honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day 2021, the
IAAO Women's Initiative Task Force will present the March call on
"WIN’ing Conversations: Lead the Way."
This
discussion takes an introspective focus on leading ourselves and
leading others. We will look through the lens of changing women’s space
in leadership. The future is better with women at every table where
decisions are being made.
The event is free, and all are welcome.
Whether
you have formal leadership authority or not, whether you want formal
authority or not, we are all leaders. Being an effective leader
starts with a reflective evaluation of ourselves. The March
conversation will explore:
- Self-exploration about how you show up as a leader
- Finding opportunities to lead without formal authority
- Managing stress to facilitate positive change
- Resiliency
- Developing interoffice skills
- Managing self-doubt
- Tools and resources
