IAAO Virtual Conference website
IAAO has built a virtual conference attendee website
for the upcoming IAAO Annual Conference! It has all the important
information you'll need for the event. With the conference only a few
days away we encourage you to explore the website prior to the
conference to maximize its value.
Before the event
Step 1: Bookmark the website
First,
visit the conference website and bookmark it in your favorite browser
for easy access during the virtual conference. Chrome and Firefox
browsers are recommended for viewing the virtual conference website.
Step 2: Sign into the websiteWhen signing into the website,
you’ll be asked to enter your first name, last name, and email address.
Please use the email address IAAO has on file associated with your
conference registration. You’ll be emailed a verification code to the
email address associated with your registration. Use this code to
complete your sign in. Check your spam/junk folder if the verification
code does not appear in your inbox within a few minutes.
Step 3: Explore the website
Take
a moment to navigate the website and review the menu options across the
top of the page. You’ll find access to the attendee directory, your
session list, and information regarding the exhibitors and sponsors of
the 2021 IAAO Annual Conference.
Day of event
Joining a session
Each
of the virtual sessions will “go live” a few minutes before the
scheduled session start time. Once a session has officially gone live,
you’ll see a red icon on the session page denoting that the live stream
has started. Click “Join session” to enter the live streamed session.
Participating in the Q&A
On
the right side of the live streaming session, you’ll be able to access
the Q&A section. Questions submitted will be reviewed by the session
moderator who will ask the speaker at the appropriate time.
Additionally, you can upvote other attendee’s questions by clicking the
up arrow by the question to increase the visibility of that question for
the moderator.
Accessing an exhibitor virtual booth
By
clicking an exhibitor’s name on the Exhibitor Page, you will have
access to their virtual booth. This page has information about the
exhibitor, ways to connect with them via social media, and the ability
to join their virtual meeting room if they have one. You can also see
any files or links the exhibitor has included.
Viewing the recordings
All
live streamed sessions will be recorded and IAAO will work to make
those recordings available as soon as possible. Access to the recorded
sessions will be available through September 30th, 2021. Additional
information regarding the release date/time as well as directions on how
to view the recordings will be provided by IAAO in the week following
the conclusion of the conference.
