Changes to Code of Ethics released for 30-day exposure
Nov. 10, 2021 - Changes to the IAAO Code of Ethics have been approved by the IAAO Board of Directors for exposure to members for 30 days.

Comments on the Code of Ethics changes should be sent to Executive Administrator Mindy Murphy-Watson at watson@iaao.org.  The comment period will run to Dec. 10, 2021.

The proposed changes to the Code of Ethics were developed by the Ethics Committees and the Board of Directors, and reviewed by Legal Counsel. The changes are intended to coordinate with the updated IAAO Strategic Plan, clarify existing language, and outline compliance with appropriate professional standards.

The proposed changes are available to download in a clean version to review, along with a marked-up version showing highlighted additions and strikethroughs indicating removed text. The documents also are available on the Exposure Drafts page on the IAAO website.

Following the comment period, the Code of Ethics and member comments will be submitted to the Board of Directors for review and final approval.
