Registration underway for conference golf event
Registration
is underway for the annual IAAO Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, Aug.
27, in Boston. The Local Host Task Force and Massachusetts Chapter of
IAAO organized the event at the Robert T. Lynch Municipal Golf Course
and is handling registration.
Fees
are $100 and include transportation to the course and back, green fees,
cart, lunch, and a swag bag. There will be prizes for first, second,
and third place, plus contests for closest to the pin and longest drive.
In addition, there will be a chance to win a new car with a hole-in-one
on a selected hole.
Profits will help fund the 2022 conference charity,
"A Path in the Woods." The foundation honors the memory of Daniel
McCabe of Wellesley, MA, and was started to help young people find their
path in the world.
The
tournament has moved to Saturday this year and the first tee time is 9

Register for Golf Outing
Brookline
Golf Course, officially referred to as The Robert T. Lynch Municipal,
is in the Putterham neighborhood of Brookline, Massachusetts, which was
home to the legendary Francis Ouimet. Mr. Ouimet won the 1913 U.S. Open
as an amateur.
