November workshop: Navigating conflict in the workplace
The
event, presented by Amy Gallo, will teach a deeper understanding of
interpersonal dynamics, including gender and racial dynamics, while
increasing awareness of personal communication styles. The workshop,
which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central, is $195 for members and
$275 for nonmembers. Workshop registration includes a free copy of Amy’s latest book.
The
workshop will expand your repertoire of negotiation and collaboration
skills, as well as your ability to build trusting relationships which
will help you navigate workplace conflict in a healthier way. In
addition, the workshop is eligible for six CE credits.

Amy Gallo,
a conflict, communication, and workplace dynamics expert will lead the
workshop. She is an author, editor, and podcast co-host of Harvard
Business Review’s “Women at Work."
Amy
has authored both “The HBR Guide to Dealing with Conflict,” a
how-to guidebook published in 2017, as well as her forthcoming
book, “Getting Along: How
to Work with Anyone (Even Difficult People)” which is due out in
September. She was also the speaker for the WIN luncheon at the recent
IAAO Annual Conference in Boston.
