Register for navigating conflict in the workplace workshop by Thursday to receive speaker's new book
“Getting Along: Navigating Conflict in the Workplace,”
will be the focus of the IAAO Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) one-day
virtual workshop on Nov. 1. Participants will receive a copy of the
speaker's new book and are urged to register no later than Thursday,
Oct. 13 to receive the book in time for the workshop.
The
event, presented by Amy Gallo, will teach a deeper understanding of
interpersonal dynamics, including gender and racial dynamics, while
increasing awareness of personal communication styles. The workshop, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central, is $195 for members and $275 for nonmembers.
Workshop registration includes the free copy of Amy’s latest book, Getting Along: How to Work with Anyone (Even Difficult People).
The
workshop will expand your repertoire of negotiation and collaboration
skills, as well as your ability to build trusting relationships which
will help you navigate workplace conflict in a healthier way. The
workshop is eligible for six CE credits.
Amy Gallo
Amy Gallo,
a conflict, communication, and workplace dynamics expert, will lead the
workshop. She is an author, editor, and podcast co-host of Harvard
Business Review’s “Women at Work."
In
addition to teaching at the workshop, Gallo was also the speaker for
the WIN luncheon at the recent IAAO Annual Conference in Boston.
Amy
has authored both “The HBR Guide to Dealing with Conflict,” a how-to
guidebook published in 2017, as well as her most recent book, “Getting
Along: How to Work with Anyone (Even Difficult People).
