Dwane Brinson, CAE, RES, AAS is a member of the IAAO Board of Directors, representing Region 3. Outside of IAAO he is the Tax Administrator for Durham County Tax Administrator’s Office in Durham, North Carolina.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mount Olive, an MBA from Campbell University, and an MPA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Mr. Brinson has been an IAAO member for more than 15 years and earned the Certified Assessment Evaluator, Assessment Administration Specialist, and Residential Evaluation Specialist designations. He has served on the IAAO Scholarship Committee, the Professional Designations Subcommittee, and the Professional Development Committee. In 2021 the Durham County Tax Administrator’s Office earned the Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration (CEAA).
