This year’s Women’s Initiative Network luncheon speaker is Carol Cox, founder and CEO of Speaking Your Brand®, a coaching and training company that works with mission-driven organizations, executives, and entrepreneurs to elevate their communication, public
speaking, and thought leadership.

Honored as one of Orlando’s Women of the Year, her work is driven by her mission to empower more women to find and use their voice, tell the stories that need to be told, and activate ideas for change.
Carol also teaches business and marketing classes at Full Sail University and has co-facilitated their Women’s Leadership Initiative. Carol has served on the advisory boards of weVenture, New Leaders Council, and ATHENA’s Women in Community and Public Service, and during election seasons, is a political analyst on TV news.
Prior to Speaking Your Brand®, Carol founded and ran two software businesses, whose clients included Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, community organizations, and political candidates.
Carol holds a Master’s degree in History from Emory University, where she was a recipient of the Javits Fellowship for graduate study, and she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in History.
