GIS/Valuation Technology Conference Cancelled

In recognition of the growing health risks worldwide posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and decisions by governments and businesses to curtail activities over the next few weeks, it is with great regret that we inform you that IAAO and URISA have decided to cancel the GIS/Valuation Technologies Conference, March 23-26, 2020 in Louisville Kentucky.

The GIS/ValTech sponsors and exhibitors have worked to develop learning experiences to connect with you virtually. URISA and IAAO are pleased to bring you several opportunities featuring Vision Government Solutions, Nearmap, Aumentum Technologies, and PivotPoint.  When additional opportunities are developed will be listed online  at  https://www.urisa.org/valtech#virtualevents. 

Cancellation

The health and safety of our members, attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors is our top priority. We believe that, given the current situation, cancelling this event is for the overall benefit of all parties involved. 

With the concurrence of the IAAO President Amy Rasmussen, RES, AAS, FIAAO and URISA President Keri Brennan, GISP we are operating out of an abundance of caution after reviewing guidance from the CDC, and getting input from members who raised concerns about being absent from their communities during this crisis. 

This has been a very difficult decision and we would like to thank all our partners, sponsors, exhibitors and participants for their understanding at this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our participants and partners.  Our sympathies go to those who are affected with COVID-19 around the world.

Going forward IAAO is monitoring the status of future events and will communicate with members and registrants as soon as any decisions have been made.
