The IAAO International Conference on Assessment Administration is the premier platform to share successes, discover best practices and learn from expert colleagues the latest research in the field of property appraisal. Educational sessions, networking opportunities and events, and a varied exposition equip assessment professionals with the tools needed to succeed. Conference attendees are given the opportunity to interact with peers from across the country as well as around the globe. The 2024 Annual Conference is scheduled for August 25-28 in Denver.

Legal Seminar

Registration will open in the summer for the 2024 IAAO Legal Seminar, set for Dec. 12-13 in Chicago. Attendees will hear from industry experts on legal topics of interest to members of the assessment and property tax industry.

GIS/Valuation Technologies Conference

The 2024 GIS/Valuation Technologies Conference will take place April 8-11 at the Le Meridien/Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina. IAAO and URISA will accept submissions until Sept. 22 for keynote, workshop, and presentation at the conference.  The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) and the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) partner each year to discuss the importance of data and the analysis of location information for better decision-making within a jurisdiction.

Mass Appraisal Valuation Symposium

The International Property Tax Institute and IAAO presented a joint (virtual) Mass Appraisal Valuation Symposium (MAVS 2024) on June 26-27, 2024. The theme of the virtual MAVS was “Challenges and Opportunities.”
