Assessment Directories are a vital service provided by the IAAO Library. These collections of assessment data are targeted for our members are updated on a regular basis. To send updated information for any of these directories, please contact library staff at library@iaao.org. 

State Roll Call: Requirements For Assessor Licensing/Certification
Open Access - A compilation of each state's education requirements for assessors and an analysis of the main features of both mandatory and voluntary programs.
    
Electronic Government Documents Directory  
Members Only - Provides assessment professionals easy access to major property tax documents published by state/province tax commissions, departments of revenue, departments of taxation, etc. Most entries include an annual report, ratio study, assessor manual, statutes, and salaries if available.
    
Oversight Agencies By State/Province
Open Access - Web site list for all oversight agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
    
Assessment Videos Directory    
Open Access - Collection of professional videos on the property tax made by local jurisdictions, mostly for public relations and educational purposes.
    
Salary Surveys Directory    
Open Access - Collection of salary surveys for assessment professionals in various regions and sizes of jurisdictions.
    
Directory of Assessment Organizations    
Open Access - Compiled by Richard Sanderson and includes property tax associations and education organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Some international organizations are included.
    
A-Z List of Periodicals
Members Only - Online access to newsletters, magazine, and journals on assessment and appraisal of real property. Use this directory for browsing by issue instead of searching by topic. Stay current with the latest issue, or browse back issues.
